Family Recipe Book
As a personal project and portfolio piece, I am designing a recipe book for my family.
My final semester included a class caled Major Studio Project, in which each student was tasked with developing a project to work on for the semester. While I had a few ideas, the most immediate one that came to me was to develop a personal family recipe book. This project idea is one that my uncle and I had floated around a few years earlier. There already exists a very much outdated family recipe book that is in need of a refresh. In partnership with my uncle, I began to define the scope of the project for my class and get approval from my professor to start designing. The project is both for school and for family, which allowed me to have full creative control and is by far the most involved project I have worked on to date. For my deliverables, I decided to task myself with designing a few page templates and the general flow of the recipe book. That, along with several fully designed and completed pages is what I ended up finishing the semester with. As time goes on, I plan to revisit this project and finalize the flatplan, page layouts and recipes. The end goal is to have a fully printed recipe book that can be enjoyed by my family for years to come, until another refresh is necessary. As of now, this project is still ongoing and the images seen here are not final, but are a representation of what the final printed project will look like.
Let's work together!
I'm currently looking for full time opportunities.
